So amazing! Well kept, clean, and adventurous. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. They informed us of all the activities as well as the upgrades that are offered to me and my family. Military friendly. I had a wonderful time and my family did as well. Fair priced. Fun for all!

My husband and I went to the Easter Sunrise service and the Park was so awesome!! The Park provided coffee, tea and Hot chocolate for everyone. Beautiful place to go.. Plenty of walkways and places to sit and look at the mountains, lakes and just enjoy nature.. Great place for everyone including our fur family!! Very helpful with the handicap as well. Will be going back for another visit!

What an amazing park! We had a beautiful hike to the top. This park was clean. This hike was manageable. There is also an elevator making it more assessable for less experienced hikers. The views overlooking the valley are breathtaking. So glad we came here to hike! Waterfall was beautiful

Cost is not bad for the adventure and views you get to see. They do offer a military discount (just show ID at entrance). Lots of stairs, HIGHLY suggest taking water for everyone to drink on the way up and down. They do offer an elevator as well, however today it was down. Theres even a bar cave and waterfall. Take your time going up and enjoy the view for a bit once you reach the top. I suggest going early as its less crowded. They open at 8:30am, we arrived around 9:30am and it wasnt bad. It is HARD but there are plenty of resting spots when walking up. We spent about 2 hours there and as we left the parking lot was pretty full and there were tons of people. Dont forget to check out the souvenir shop (one at the bottom and one at the top). Bottom store had more to look at I feel like. A MIST VISIT IF YOUR IN THE AREA!

Beautiful scenery, not over crowded. Very clean place. The view was very enjoyable and quiet near a small town. Great local restaurants to choose from and nearby is an excellent guided boat tour of Lake Lure that makes for a great day trip. A jewel nestled in the Appalachian Mountain range in NC. I highly recommend for a great weekend trip to get back out in nature!
