Great campground with easy access to the lake and local events. Sites are gravel and dirt / clay (rain = mud) so be prepared to clean the floors often. The price was very reasonable for full hookups. Gated access to the park made us feel safe. The roads leading from the interstate to the park were bumpy so take it slower than the posted speed limit. We had clean power with only one quick interrupt. The water pressure was @60 psi with easy access to all hookups at your site. Spacing between sites was averaged with no buffer This was a nice little park that was close to two amazing towns.

This park has a small area to the right with such a nice, quaint beach protected by buoys. Small sandy area with a bit of tree shade. This is perfect for a family picnic! There are beautiful swinging benches that overlook the water and modern reclined seats near the sand. Be aware that no alcoholic drinks are allowed!

By far one of the better public beaches we have visited. Everything from the location, safety and how clean the whole place was is truly amazing. The beach and lake were truly special and the pier they have was a great touch. There are shelters there where it seems you can rent out which is a great idea. Clean restrooms sealed the deal for me. If you are in the area and are looking for a day vacation then this is the place to visit.

Perfect hideaway to swim and enjoy the day! Beautiful waters, and wonderful wrap around pier, with swings to watch the boaters, and sunset, also has picnic tables on pier. Was traveling and asked for nearest beach, this was amazing! Was so Hot! Has dressing rooms in restrooms, huge, nice park for kids, and animal friendly. Was very impressed with wrap around pier! I Highly recommend this Beauty!

Wonderful small park EXCEPT Weekends are really busy at the park. Visited last week in April and they had 3-4 police officers directing traffic and just patrolling the area. Just a lot of people on weekends. Monday it was deserted and mostly just the campground folks. Sunday we waited in line for about 30 minutes to get through the gate. They were limiting the amount of people in the park. We did enjoy our time there. Was in a 40 foot motorhome and plenty of room on site.
