Fantastic spot right Uptown great place to bring a coffee or a sandwich from 7th Street Public Market and throw down a blanket to chill. Theres also a little workout circuit along one of the walkways where you could get a good sweat in! The best part is you can walk right to all of the major attractions Uptown from the park, so it would be a great place for a date night!

This is a great place to bring kids of all ages to play in the splash pad. They have clean restroom facilities. There are plenty of space to have a picnic & lots of trash cans located around the park. They even have a place for adults to workout. There is a decent amount of shade but there could be more.

This has become our summer chuck chill out spot. I get to find a shady spot and let my girls run and play in the sprinkles and when it gets too hot we will go read some books right across the street and take advantage of the cool ac. When the sun starts to go down, I'll grab a scooter and take a ride around and through the park.

Pretty cool park located in the heart of uptown Charlotte. If you are taking the light rail you will want to get off at 7th Street Station and walk about a block. Went to the park for Relay for Life to honor survivors and those who were no longer with us. Great centralized location

It had lots of little areas for the kids to play and a big lawn area for the family to have a picnic, the park was clean and landscape was well kept. It had a splash pad area as well. So if you go with The kiddos, bring a towel and change of clothes. The bathroom was gross, but when you have so many kids there, I guess that's to be expected.
