Nicely maintained trails. A nice kids jungle gym area. Lots of picnicking areas and parking. I just wish there was a little more grass for spreading out a blanket.

Campsites were clean and had decent ammenities (water spigot, power hookups, showers in the bathroom hut) but we were not expecting to be as tightly packed as were were. Several campsites are VERY close to one another, our tent was set up on the platform provided and we were around 6 feet from our neighbors. We politely asked the staff up front if it would be possible to swap to a different spot, and basically got told to kick rocks. If you're looking for privacy, I'd opt for one of the primitive spots. Shower heads in the bathroom did not flow properly, more turned the water into a fine mist. Not a big problem, but this was a little annoying. Overall, we enjoyed our stay but I'm not sure I'll be back, especially not for the price.

Great campsite for tents and RVs. The camp sites have power and water, a fire ring with an attached grill, picnic table, and gravel area for tent. Bathroom facilities are 8 single units, which I found better to have privacy. Gate code to get in that comes with reservation. At check in they have ice and firewood for sale, good prices. You can walk or drive to the lake to fish or hang out. If you walk its quite a hill back! On the top of my list for camp sites!

This is such a pretty and peaceful place. I came in the middle of the afternoon on a weekday in January, so I didnt run into too many other people. Walking through the woods to get down to the water reminded me of home. I cant wait to come back and explore more of the nature preserve.
