Elevation Beauty & Nail Spa

I really debated making a review, being that this place is supposed to be black owned. However, I feel that If black owned business want to be held to the same standards as other mainstream businesses then they are allowed the same feedback. I will start with the positive. The place is conveniently located, easy to find, and parking was not an issue. The salon was beautifully decorated and clean from what I can see. I observed the nail techs following proper sanitation guidelines. I am familiar with salon guidelines being that I grew up in hair salons and I am surrounded by estheticians that own their own spas/suites. The negative: 1. When I called to schedule the appointment, the receptionist was very unprofessional and did not have knowledge of the services provided and could not answer my questions. She appeared to be very young. I understand using the help you can get, but just make sure theyre properly trained. 2. Upon arrival, I was greeted but then I was left standing at the front door before someone fully acknowledged that I had an appointment. 3. Prior to arriving my tech was switched twice and Im assuming again upon arrival because she appeared to be oblivious to my services. 4. All the employees looked like they had just rolled out of bed. 5. My pedicure service was horrible. It seemed to be the techs first time doing a pedicure. I also had an appointment to get my nails done as well but declined after the pedicure service. If you know its not your best work it shouldnt be on a client and they shouldnt leave the building without you making the necessary changes or admitting that you cannot effectively perform the service. Im not saying any of these things to bash the business or destroy the nail techs confidence. I also dont need a refund or am I disputing the charges. I just want the black community to have quality places that we can call our own and that we can continue to patronize.

I went to Elevation Beauty and Nail spa for the first time yesterday and was greeted warmly with professionalism and kindness immediately as I walked through the door. Kamiyah was my nail tech and her energy was superb. Her work speaks for itself and these are my birthday set that she slayed. Kamiyah took her time and made sure she did everything to my liking. I will be going back to support this black owned business.

Thank you TikTok for allowing this nail salon to come down my timeline. Its a black owned nail salon in my neighborhood! I made my appointment with Kathleen and she was AMAZING! I wanted red nails and I have to admit she did that! Gel nails is really the way to go! My pedicure was amazing as well, but I would opt for the gel pedicure next time! Thank you Ms Pat and Kay for an amazing service and experience!

Such a beautiful place on a Sunday morning! Make sure to take your appointment, and just get in, relax, and get the most beautiful mani pedi leaving you smooth, clean, shining, and gorgeous! I love that they're open Sunday, bless those who work that day but you're doing amazing work!

I cant say enough good about this place. Im here traveling from out of state on business and I called NJ to ask about an appt for the next day, a Sunday. He worked with my availability and even got me a glass of champagne while I waited. Then I had Chelsea for my nail girl and let me just say, Ive never had prettier, more crisp nails (and I get my nails done all the time). Even though they closed at 6, she meticulously crafted beautiful nails for me until around 7:15 or so. Love this place, their people, and their layout. Everyone in the Charlotte area should go here for nails and Ill be back whenever I travel, 100%.
