Fun little bookstore attached to a coffee shop. Limited selection but all good reads. Has a kids reading room, a play area and a small selection of comics.

I absolutely adore this little shop. It is quite quaint, very friendly, very cozy and yet it has this amazing old school feeling to it. It. One of my favorite things is how the floor still Creek, but it has a new age feeling. The prices are also terrific getting both of these books for under $15. If you're in this neck of the woods you have to stop here, maybe get yourself a free little bookmark as well. And also, even though it's hard to see has a little coffee shop inside which I did not know. Every time I come in here I feel like I'm in one of those. Really beautiful nature, movies and time can just escape you.

We had a short visit to NC (Concord/Charlotte area). My daughter in law had found a bookstore and said there is a hidden door to the coffee shop on the other side. We visited Goldberry Books. I found a cute game for my sister in law and a couple books. Hubby found a BBQ cookbook by a chef he enjoys watching. Friendly staff. Nice bookstore with new and used books.

Goldberry Books is easily the best bookstore in the area. They have a huge selection with something for everyone, and they do an especially great job with classicsoften carrying really beautiful editions. One of my favorite parts is their Tolkien section. They have a dedicated area for The Lord of the Rings and other Tolkien works, which is a great touch for fans. Their teen section is also excellent, and the kids room is really well done and fun to explore. They even have sections that feel like a bit of a treasure hunt, with low-cost books where you can dig around and find great deals. Thats always a fun experience. The owners are wonderful, and the whole bookstore has a cozy, welcoming feel. I really like the layout, and its just an enjoyable place to spend time. Ive been going since they opened and have loved it ever since. As a bonus, theyre right next to an excellent coffee spot, the Press & Porter. Id recommend grabbing a Corban coffee from their local favorites board and pairing it with Watership Down by Richard Adamshard to beat that combination. Overall, its a fantastic bookstore and a perfect place to spend a relaxed afternoon.

Such a chic place. The most positive vibes as you walk in. I fell a little in love. There was a very friendly young man eager to help people find the perfect books. We were at the big antique mall in Concord and decided to explore downtown. The next time you are in the area- this place is a must! Make an afternoon out of it and stay for dinner- there are multiple restaurants in town. Have some fun exploring!
