Plenty of good stores, but parking is often terrible. If you want to shop around peak meal times or after work... watch out and drive or walk carefully! The parking if full and too many cars drive way too fast. Nice selection of shopping from quick bites to sit down restaurants, clothing, home goods and massage!
Traffic in this area is heavy, so getting into the parking lot, then finding a space is challenging and a little intimidating especially during rush hour and at peak South Park shopping times. Entering the parking lot is difficult due to traffic on Sharon Road and Fairview Road, unless you're lucky enough to be going the right way in the right lane at the right time of day! Once you're in the parking lot, it's pretty straightforward other than going to Harper's which presents a whole new navigational challenge! Sharon Corners contains an interesting and vibrant collection of shops and restaurants. Old time Charlotteans will remember when a public library and then a gas station sat at that very corner. Those have long since been replaced by higher volume, greater revenue-producing shops and restaurants.
I nice shopping area that contains a number of good restaurants including Harpers and for that 'breakfast anytime', the Original Pancake House.
Went to Original Pancake House for a late breakfast. Service is fast and good for a quick place to eat. Usually very busy on Saturday and Sunday mornings.
I visit Sharon Corners for the restaurants, like Baoding, The Original Pancake House and Moe's. I really wouldn't call this a mall, however. It's more like a shopping plaza. There's also a Men's Warehouse. It's in a great location as well. Right across the street from Southpark Mall.
