I just moved into town about three weeks ago. I was looking for a specialty guitar store so, I spent a little less than an hour with Jeff there who was very kind, attentive, and very knowledgeable. The ambiance of the showroom is exquisite with all types of guitars from acoustic to electric, and I think its a jewel in the city. As some others have chimed in, I do believe that this place is light years ahead of Guitar Center. No disrespect to Guitar Center because Ive done a great deal of business with them over the years however, this is a destination showcase with high-quality guitars, service, and expertise. What more could you ask for?

For a beginner guitar player heading into the intermediate stage. This shop is a must! Jeff and Josh are incredible, super knowledgeable and do not only talk the talk, but they walk the walk. I was nervous trying to ask the right questions and figuring out what to say, but Jeff was so welcoming and inviting. He talked helped me find the right guitar even if that meant handing me guitar after guitar. I learned that I love satin necks because of it. Before I left with my new guitar Josh made sure it was absolutely perfect. Took it to the back and did his magic. Sounds like an absolute dream now. Beginner, Intermediate or Advanced, they honestly have it all. If you are ready to buy, swing by. Even if youre shopping around trying to find your sound. They got you! Vera guitars is a great shop with a variety for beginner to advanced. The staff is really knowledgeable and passionate about getting what YOU want! I had a vintage guitar plekd and set up. Shop told me it would take a few days and I live out of town. I was willing to leave it and pick it up another day. Shop called me later that day and said it was ready! I hadnt left the area yet so I picked it up the same day. The guitar was brought back to life! 40 year old guitar and plays like new again. It was a very expensive gift from my Dad and we didnt have any money. It holds a lot of sentimental value and I felt like it was in great hands. This place really underpromised and over delivered! I love this store. It feels like a specialty store for guitar & bass players. It's off the beaten path, tucked away in an industrial area. Has a living room feel & the workers are very friendly. I just had a full overhaul of one of my guitars & they did a real good job

Vera has such a wonderful vibe. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Had a pickup installed on a classical and the job was done perfectly. If the guitar is part of your life, this store is a must to visit.
