It was an experience. Id never been to a bath house before, but decided to try it since my friend wanted to go. The establishment was clean, and the room temperature was nice. Plenty of private changing rooms to change in and out your swimsuit. The shower stalls were private with full doors, offered body wash, shampoo and conditioner and were clean - the floors werent slippery with soap scum. Check in and check out was simple and fast. They offer 2 private party rooms, 1 for a smaller group and one for a larger group. They had 2 heated rooms (one dark the other light), 2 cold water pools with heated benches to recover in and an Himalayan salt room. They had 2 public showers to rinse under and an water bottle filling station. Overall a positive experience.

First time visiting a sauna house. Overall it was a great experience. The lavender tea was wonderful and the staff were incredible! Everything was very clean. I only wish there were complementary robes available.

In full transparency, I spend a lot of time at all of the Sauna House locations and have watched this project grow from concept to completed bathhouse. After finishing a long contrast therapy session at the soft launch, I can confidently say that Sauna House Charlotte lives up to the high standards of the other locations while offering a distinct vibe that sets it aparta vibe shaped largely by the unique architectural (cheese wedge) features of the building. The main lounge area, surrounded by large windows, is a standout feature. These windows flood the space with natural light, creating an open and inviting chill atmosphere. This lounge is perfect for sitting and relaxing between sessions, as the thoughtful design ensures the noise level remains low. The dark sauna has two lava heaters that allow it to reach temperatures above 190 degrees. They are both traditional Finnish sauna heaters so when you pour scented water over the sauna stones, you can experience a serious level of steam and humidity that youd expect to experience in a Russian Banya. The dark sauna also has a three-level high bench, so if you really want heat you can sit up top. In the public space, Charlotte has two cold plunges set to different temperatures. They are roughly 4.3 feet deep so guests can fully submerge themselvesa key feature for achieving the best results from contrast therapy. The design allows you to stand vertically while plunging, which allows for better deep rhythmic breathing. The ability to go all the way under and dunk your head is a great feature of these plunges. I personally really like the ladder so that you can hold it if you enjoy a prolonged underwater cold plunge.

Had the BEST time at Sauna House. Was our first time and will for sure be back! Everyone was SO nice. Facility was clean and welcoming.

This location is in a great spot, perfect for a treat yourself day. Upon entering, the staff was extremely welcoming and provided a nice tour to help me understand what to expect while at the facility. Everything was well-maintained, and the showers had a great, refreshing scent. My only feedback would be that it would be nicer if there were fewer people per allocated time block, as the space for amenities like the cold plunge, sauna, and seating is somewhat limited. Otherwise, it was a fantastic experience, and Id definitely return!
