If you want really good Italian seafood, beyond spaghetti and meatballs, this is where you go. I had a fantastic Branzino dish here that normally I can only get when in Florida. Drinks are good here too. Staffs are attentive but I wouldnt say they are friendly. The restaurant is located in the specialty shops behind Southpark mall.

The food here is wonderful and definitely at the top of my list for Italian fine dining in Charlotte. It makes me very sad to have to deduct a star for this restaurant because the management can't seem to get a staff to stand behind this wonderful food. I have been to the restaurant several times and for special occasions over the past 5 years and the food is always beyond expectations. This is not your normal Italian American restaurant that only serves spaghetti and meatballs. This is authentic Italian from the region that really reflects its rich Mediterranean culture. That being said the service has to be fixed. I have been in the restaurant while the owner was present and there seems to be a strong level of arrogance that is standing in the way of perfection. No matter how good the food may be the way you are treated can put a bad taste in your mouth. Please management and ownership read these ratings, hear the praise for your food and the fix the customer service to match!

What a stunning delight to find one of the best Italian restaurants in America in Charlotte. My wife enjoyed the amazing Branzino and I the Clams over Linguine with red sauce. Its a dish Ive eaten all over the countryand this is the best Ive ever had! Flawless! The clams fresh, linguine perfectly al dente and the red sauce dead so savory I dredged the bowl with bread to get the very last drop. You simply must experience Toscana! Its as good as a trip to Tuscany!

Toscana is a jewel in the heart of Charlotte. Having traveled to Italy multiple times, dining at Toscana transports me back to Italy. The food is always absolutely delicious and very generous servings. They have daily specials that are wonderful, and you can go there multiple times a week if you choose and never get tired of the offerings, because they are always changing. The staff is attentive, literally some of the best restaurant staff that Ive ever come across. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough.

I was here with a large work group and it was a good meal. It took a while and all that could have been due to the size of our group which was like 30 plus people. However, the Chicken Perm type of dish was very good. Great bar and wine selection.
