Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden
Saturday, April 6 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Stroll through the beautiful, flowering gardens at the Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden this Easter. Celebrate the start of spring with the entire Rabbit family, including Peter himself, while also enjoying family-friendly crafts, art exploration, and entertainment. Food and beverages will be available on site and horse-drawn carriage rides will be available, weather permitting, for an additional fee.

The Billy Graham Library
Saturday, April 13 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Bring the entire family to celebrate at The Billy Graham Library this Easter. Participate in a Resurrection Quest through the library’s Journey to Faith tour and receive a free gift, or join an interactive telling of the Biblical Easter story on the patio. You will also have the opportunity to purchase Resurrection Eggs, or help your child create their own tie-dye t-shirt. Before leaving, remember to stop by and enjoy the company of the baby animals that will be on site!
Annual Easter Eggstravaganza
Lazy 5 Ranch
Saturday, April 13 and Saturday, April 20 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Witness an incredible helicopter egg drop and watch your little ones take part in a coloring contest, scavenger hunt, and more at the Lazy 5 Ranch. Children will collect eggs that can then be swapped for prizes at the prize tent – they will only need one egg of each color to swap. Wagon rides through the ranch will be available all day, and provide the whole family with the chance to feed the animals. Please remember that Lazy 5 Ranch does not accept credit cards, and plan accordingly.
Easter Eggstravaganza

Monday, April 15 to Sunday, April 21 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Give Easter an extra thrill by celebrating at Carowinds. Meet up with Snoopy the Easter Beagle and Eggward the Easter Bunny before heading out on an Easter egg hunt through Camp Snoopy. Other activities will feature crafts and live shows, including The Marvelous Mutts. Big kids and adults will also have the chance to ride the all-new Copperhead Strike, the Carolinas’ first double launch coaster.

North Carolina Transportation Museum
Saturday and Sunday, April 13 - 14 and April 19-20 from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Join the Easter Bunny for a 25 minute train ride at the North Carolina Transportation Museum in Spencer. He will hand out treats to everyone on board, and there will also be the chance to take a photo or reserve a meal with him aboard a vintage dining car. In addition to the train ride, there will be numerous activities throughout the 60-acre historic site. Look for inflatables, Easter crafts, and an Easter egg hunt on April 19 and 20.
NASCAR Hall of Fame Easter Egg 400

The hunt is on! Head to the NASCAR Hall of Fame and enjoy a festive breakfast, entertainment, games, and a photo opportunity with the Easter Bunny. Little ones can enjoy face painting, balloon twisting, and more – with the main event being an Easter egg hunt in the Hall itself. Each child will leave with a carton of eggs filled with candy and prizes.

Grab your basket and head to Historic Latta Plantation for egg hunts organized by age groups. The eggs will be filled with surprises, and dozens of special eggs will hold prizes such as free family membership, summer camp discounts, tickets for goodie baskets, and more. There will also be photo opportunities with Baxter the Bunny, story time, games, and the chance to meet the farm animals – including some lambs! Each child’s egg hunt ticket includes admission for one adult, so pack a picnic basket and explore the grounds for a day of old-fashioned fun.
