Charlotte is queerer, louder and prouder than ever with a full slate of brunches, drag, dance parties, pageants, parades and unforgettable moments during Charlotte Pride, Aug. 15-16. Whether you’re a sparkle-covered pride veteran or a newbie dipping your toes into glittery waters, this year’s celebration has something for everyone.

Getting to the Charlotte Pride Festival & Parade
The 2026 Charlotte Pride Festival & Parade is held in the heart of Uptown Charlotte, centered around First Ward Park and Tryon Street. Attendees are encouraged to use public transit and rideshare apps or park in nearby garages. The LYNX Blue Line light rail, with stops at 7th Street and 9th Street, drops you off just steps from the action. Be sure to arrive early, wear comfy shoes and bring water to stay cool.
2026 Charlotte Pride Festival & Parade
Charlotte Pride Festival
When: Saturday-Sunday, Aug. 15-16
Where: First Ward Park
From noon-10 p.m., live entertainment, local food trucks, art vendors, nonprofits and sponsor booths turn the park into a glittering LGBTQ+ village. Expect a dazzling mix of national headliners and local queer talent. There will also be a safe, joyful space for LGBTQ+ youth and families to gather, create and play together.
Want shade, drinks, and a place to lounge between sets? VIP passes grant access to elevated viewing areas, air-conditioned lounges and private bars. Keep an eye out for surprise performances and official pride merch drops.
Charlotte Pride Parade
When: Sunday, Aug. 16
Where: Tryon Street
Starting at noon, cheer loud and proud as Charlotte’s LGBTQ+ community takes over the city streets for the Charlotte Pride Parade, one of the largest in the Southeast. Floats, marching bands, community groups, drag royalty and more make this one of the most affirming events of the year.
For the best parade viewing spots, the intersection of Trade and Tryon Streets are for prime photo ops and performances. The VIP experience offers access to shaded seating with drinks and snacks. Arrive early and bring water, fans and your fiercest pride outfit.

Official Pride Kickoff Brunch
When: Saturday, Aug. 8
Where: Catalu
Start your Charlotte Pride right with mimosas and high-octane performances from the Vanity House queens. This brunch sets the tone for the entire week so bring your appetite and your energy.
Scorpio Pride Pre Kickoff featuring Carmen Carrera

Get an early start on Charlotte Pride with a special pre-kickoff celebration at Scorpio featuring Carmen Carrera from “RuPaul's Drag Race.” Expect an evening of dazzling performances, energetic dance music and plenty of pride spirit.
Charlotte Pride Interfaith Service
When: Sunday, Aug. 9
Where: Holy Trinity Lutheran Church
Pride is about celebrating every part of who you are, including your faith. The annual Charlotte Pride Interfaith Service welcomes LGBTQ+ community members, allies and affirming faith leaders for a morning of reflection, music and unity. This year's theme, "Proud Out Loud: Many Paths, One Affirmation," reminds us that love, acceptance and belonging can be found across many traditions.
Charlotte Pride Drag Pageant
When: Thursday, Aug. 13
Where: Chasers
Come watch local legends battle it out for the ultimate Charlotte Pride titles. Expect rhinestones, reveals and pageantry that’ll leave you breathless. Chasers is also hosting club events all weekend long, with doors opening at 10 p.m. nightly.
Charlotte Pride Kickoff Party
When: Friday, Aug. 14

The celebration officially turns out at Chasers with the annual Charlotte Pride Kickoff Party. Expect a packed dance floor, exciting performances, guest DJs and plenty of surprises as one of Charlotte's longest-running LGBTQ+ clubs welcomes pride weekend in style.
Scorpio’s Pride Friday featuring Aquaria

Where: Scorpio
Charlotte Pride weekend kicks into high gear as “RuPaul's Drag Race” winner Aquaria takes over Scorpio for an unforgettable night. Enjoy spectacular drag performances, packed dance floors and high-energy DJs as one of the biggest names in drag headlines the first official night of Charlotte Pride.
FLOURISH: A Celebration of LGBTQ Arts & Culture
When: Aug. 15-16
Where: The Dubois Center at UNC Charlotte Center City
Need a break from the summer heat? Step inside FLOURISH, Charlotte Pride's celebration of LGBTQ+ arts and culture. This free, air-conditioned experience showcases everything from live music, spoken word and dance performances to fine art exhibitions and LGBTQ+ short films. It's the perfect place to slow down, discover local creatives and experience the incredible artistic talent that makes Charlotte's queer community shine.
Celebrate Pride at Carolina Theatre
When: Aug. 15-16
Where: Carolina Theatre
Historic Carolina Theatre is celebrating Charlotte Pride weekend with actress and author Gina Gershon. On Saturday, Aug. 15, join Gershon for an intimate conversation discussing her new book, moderated by local entrepreneur Davita Galloway, followed by a screening of her 1996 film “Bound.” On Sunday, Aug. 16, stop by during the Pride Parade for entertainment by DJ Fannie Mae, a vendor market curated by The Mimosa Way and a screening of “Showgirls” at 5 p.m.
Girls Room Pride Festival

Celebrate Charlotte Pride with one of Charlotte's biggest dance parties at the Girls Room Pride Festival. This 21-and-over event features incredible DJs, live performers, local vendors and an energetic atmosphere where everyone is welcome on the dance floor. RIOT! A Punk CLT Pride Afterparty

Trade the glitter for a little grit at RIOT!, Charlotte's ultimate Charlotte Pride afterparty for lovers of punk, alternative and unapologetically queer nightlife. This late-night celebration combines electrifying drag, high-energy performances and a punk rock atmosphere that's anything but ordinary.
“Queen City Royalty” Pride Drag Revue Show
When: Saturday, Aug. 15
Where: Dilworth Grille
Queen City Royalty brings together past and present Charlotte Pride titleholders for an inspiring showcase of talent, storytelling and community. Proceeds from the event benefit the Charlotte LGBTQ History, Visibility and Beautification Coalition, making it a meaningful way to celebrate Charlotte Pride while supporting local history.
Pride Fest Drag Brunch by The Vanity House

The queens of Vanity House are bringing the glamour back to Ink n Ivy for one of Charlotte Pride's most anticipated traditions. Love Out Loud Pride Drag Brunch
