I really enjoy Cantina 1511 every time that I visit. The fondue-style queso is one of my favorite appetizers of any restaurant, and everything I have ever had to eat here has been tasty and cooked as expected. I did not rate this experience as a 5, however, because it took quite a long time to be seen by our waiter, despite the restaurant being fairly slow that evening. Once we were seen, it also took quite a while to receive beverage refills as well. Funny enough, on previous visits when it was quite busy the service was much more attentive. It may have been an off night for this employee, or something else might have been going on, but I think awareness could be improved. If you catch them on a good night the experience will be quite good.
Significant change in menu price point from original format. Lower price with street food concept. Wide variety to choose from. I miss the previous dining room decor. No longer upscale.
We went to Cantina at Rea rd. For my birthday lunch and had a very pleasant experience from beginning to end. We had reservations but were offered choice of tables. Our waiter was professional and attended to our every need. The food was very, very good. Fresh catch Tacos, tortilla soup, and tres leeches cake. We will definitely be back and tell our friends and family about the experience!
Got in quickly at self serve seats around the bar. Food was quick and very tasty. Staff was great.
This is what restaurant service should aspire to be. Management is without a doubt, top notch. The servers are excellent. There is not one bad thing about the large portions of food you get! We have catered several parties as well. Seriously, the prices are way less than what I should be paying for the quality of the food. I could go on and on. Just try it for yourself.
