First off, love supporting small businesses and pastry chefs! A good pastry is like having a slice of home that you can hold and enjoy. Her flavors were very nostalgic for my husband and I with a lot of delicious twists. I had ordered on Monday and picked up on Friday. The experience was effortless and the owner came out with the cookies. She was kind, sweet and fun but also you could tell she was busy because this place is AMAZING! We got two zebra cookies, a wild berry, strawberry shortcake (I believe), smorereo, honey bun and the nutella filled croissant with a cookie inside plus whipped topping! **french kiss** it was heaven! Not only did each cookie taste exactly like the name but it went beyond that. I dont even know how she achieved such perfect consistency but also with her own twist. Each cookie is well thought out, beautiful and you can tell she truly cares. I dont know how she creates a new menu every week and does so well but shes killing it along with her lovely staff! If youre on the fence because of cost, its well worth it, she gives you your moneys worth in every cookie. If its because you dont know if a cookie can be elevated this much.. trust me. She can and she did! I was hesitant but now Im a believer. Love this place and cant wait to see what she continues to do!!

On looks/presentation alone, these cookies would probably get a 4. But taste, pick up instructions/location etc we just did not care for any of them but the French toast cookie from the 80s themed box and the zebra cookie. We spent 35$ I believe and that was with one free cookie.... that is overpriced for what you are getting. The thoughtfulness for the theme was very good but the flavors fell short, most were overdone or dry. The icing was overly sweet on a couple to where we could only take a bite. I hate giving small businesses not great reviews, but I as a customer appreciate reading honest reviews. I do again think that for 30 some dollars we would not purchase again a whole box, maybe if there were flavors we just had to try separately.

Probably one of the best dessert shops I've had in Charlotte! Definitely my favorite cookie spot! They add a lot of unique and interesting combinations to cookies and always have rotating and new items and flavors from cereal themed cookie boxes to Starbucks flavors and many more. Definitely give this place a try and order from their website!

Let me tell you about the best cookies in Charlotte. I was browsing Instagram one day back in August when Jess L. posted about some amazing looking cookies from a new bake shop one of his clients was opening. I immediately started following honeybear. Then she does a giveaway for her test cookies before she opens to the public. I'm the giveaway queen, so I obviously entered. Lucky me, I won! She gave us a box of 10 cookies. They were amazing. Every single one. They're such unique flavors and they're executed beautifully. In the weeks since, she has exploded in popularity. I avoided the temptation to order more for a while because we had dessert overload. Then this week's boxes hit and I couldn't resist. How it works: she posts the weekly flavors on Instagram on Sunday. You have until Wednesday to order on her website. Pickup is at her location in City Kitch on Friday or Saturday. She does curbside. She is the nicest, friendliest, and most accommodating person! Some of my favorite cookies so far: PB&J, Gordgeous Pumpkin Caramel, Strawberry Shortcake, Blueberry Muffin, Corn and Pimento Cheese, Key Lime Pie. They're all so good though. Some others I really enjoyed: Cinnamon Roll, New York Cheesecake, Peanut Butter Captain Crunch. The S'mores is incredibly popular (Anthony loves it, I don't like chocolate). Go support this wonderful baker and get some amazing cookies! $15 per half dozen.

The cookie butter crme sandwich was out of this world. The marshmallow filling was beyond perfect and the cookie was delicious. The starcrunch cookie was identical to the classic little Debbie snack but just homemade and absolutely incredible! Even better knowing the ingredients and its locally made. My toddler loved the blueberry muffin cookie and my husband loved the wild berry pop tart cookie! The wild berry pop tart and starcrunch flavors were extremely nostalgic. Will definitely have to go back asap especially for the cookie butter crme sandwich and starcrunch. Those 2 are a 10/10 in my book!
