Rooster's Wood-Fired Kitchen was filled with Southern hospitality. It was decorated with a home country feel; much like a deconstructed Cracker Barrel. The service is truly what saved this rating. Now the food and pricing was a bit outrageous. Serving sizes were on the smaller size. The food has some flavors but no "wow" factor was there. The red snapper was overcooked. The Mac and Cheese was uncooked. Although, the presentation is surely seen. Plated beautifully. However, drinks were pricey as well but I can say strong. I understand fine dining to a T and although the atmosphere was somewhat there; nothing much else was. It didn't give the sense of intimacy. All and all it wasn't my thing but hopefully you can find comfort and a delicious meal during your visit. I wish you the best. There are tons of great reviews.
Highlights: Exceptional dinner service, a variety of beautiful dining areas, delicious food and welcoming staff! Service: Nothing like that MVP feeling on a Friday night! Every single touch point with staff members from the hostess, to our wait staff, to managers, they constantly came by our seating area to make sure we had everything we needed for a wonderful dinner experience. Although the restaurant was full, we were sat immediately at their bar area options and the food and drinks were delivered timely. Our waitress was very engaging and observant. Food: The wood fire grill aroma brought us in and did not disappoint! Really tasty, absolutely juicy and great till the last bite! We ordered the Hanger Steak, Joyce Farms pasture raised burger and Joyce Farms rotisserie natural chicken (MY FAVORITE!!) We also ordered the delicious mac and cheese and butter wilted spinach. Incredibly decadent!!! What a wonderful restaurant! First time visit but not the last! Highly recommend it!!!
I'm scoring a 3.5. I went to a Birthday dinner for one of my friends. They had to book a private room because there were ten guest. Which means they had to pay an additional charge for the room. She was told it was also because they were short staffed. No problem, but why make the person pay for the room. The food wasn't bad, everyone had to choose from three options, rotisserie chicken, salmon and chicken salad. Everyone stated that their food was good. Several commented on the size of the salmon for the price.
We went to this awesome restaurant on 3/4/23 for my husband's birthday. The exterior was clean and very well manicured. Upon entering we were warmly and friendly welcomed by, the front door hosts. They were great at answering my questions about the taxidermy chickens on the wall. We were seated right away and the vibe of the restaurant was very relaxing and smooth. Our server John made our night fabulous!! John was excellent on everything he did for us and he made our experience very nice. I ordered the wings which were cooked in a wood-fire grill the taste was juicy, super hot and flavorful. The restaurant definitely represents "from the pasture to the farm" flare. The braised beef short rib was the absolute best I've ever had omg I highly recommend this meal. My husband enjoyed his salmon meal. If you're looking for a classy relaxing restaurant I highly recommend this business hopefully you'll get John he gave us the ultimate experience and he should be 1st in line for a raise and a promotion. I completely enjoyed my experience at this unique restaurant. The food was tasty. I definitively recommend the lamb meatballs. Also, the fresh homemade bread is awesome. Definitely recommend this place.
