AfroPop! Nation creates experiences celebrating the rich culture of the African Diaspora through music, dance, art, vendors and African drumming in the US... Welcome to "The Bantu Experience"! This is the second annual "special edition" of our AfroPop! Charlotte series highlighting elements we explore monthly within deeper detail. The Harvey B. Gantt Center for African-American Arts + Culture uniquely allows us to elevate an already amazing experience to new heights! Here are a few activities going on through the evening: **Afropop! Pop-Up Shop from 7pm - 1am featuring dozens of amazing vendors. **Pop-up fashion shows during the shopping experience. **Pop-up artist activation featuring local & upcoming artist. **Mufuka Works African Dance & Drumming classes. **SocaFIT USA Live Caribbean dance experience ft. Instructor Keisha Bridgeman. **Unique art & craft class for kids earlier in the evening. (7pm- 9:30pm) **After-party (9:30pm - 1:00am) featuring sound design by The Dynamic DJ Kato + DJ Steel Wheel on the rooftop patio overlooking the center city! It's going to be a night to remember!
