Join us for the Carolina's Ugly Sweater 5K Run presented by DASH Home Loans. Walkers are welcome and 100% pet friendly! (If they are friendly and on a leash) Special guests Maney and LauRen from Kiss 95.1 will be hosting the event. This event is going to be so much fun for the entire family!!
This festive 5K and Elf Run will start and finish at H2 Public House in Cornelius where you can grab a beer after your run/walk or have some lunch. Each runner will receive a t-shirt, a finisher medal, and a beer. Santa will be there to greet all the boys and girls! It promises to be a super fun morning with a little bit later race start (930am) to avoid the chilly morning. After the run or walk, participants will enjoy a beer (21 and up) from H2 Public House, cotton candy, popcorn, giveaways and post race snacks. Don't miss out on this great event. Bring the whole family there will be local vendors as well!
The Kid's 1K Elf Run presented by Carolina Real Estate Experts will start at 10:30am. It is recommended for 10 and under. This will be capped at 250 runners, so sign up early. Each registered runner will receive a finisher medal. Race t-shirts can be purchased for $10.
There will be prizes for best overall costume, Best Elf, Best Grinch, Best Santa and Best Ugly Sweater. Each top male and female runner from the age brackets listed below will also receive an award.
The race benefits Cree Cares. The primary focus is to assist local organizations that work directly with kids in need in the greater Charlotte area and to get kids active through sports. Please click to learn more www.creecares.org
