Thousands of Santas and will hit the streets of Belmont during the 2nd annual Santa Hustle 5K and Half Marathon. Runners and walkers alike are warmly invited to join this magical event. In addition to loads of holiday fun, Santa Hustle also gives back and has partnered with Communities in Schools Gaston County– a local non-profit working to surround students with a community of support empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life. Santa Hustlers will jingle all the way to cookie and candy stations along the course to fuel their holiday cheer! And afterwards, an after party will include awards, medals for top finishers, milk and cookies! Santa Hustlers get a Santa hat, beard, and a finisher’s medal included with registration - and new for 2019 – men’s, women’s or unisex hoodies, along with the option to add a Santa shirt, full Santa suit, or Mrs. Claus packages. The holiday fun only grows every year! Ho-ho-ho, who wouldn’t want to go? Volunteers needed! Santa’s Elves are needed to distribute packets, hand out snacks, and check gear during the event. All ‘elves’ receive an elf shirt, elf hat, food, drink, and Santa’s eternal gratitude. |
