In 2002, Citizen Cope’s breakthrough single “Let the Drummer Kick” came out of nowhere to become an everyman’s anthem. The infectious piano and sturdy hip hop-influenced beat created a blueprint for crossover success. While Citizen Cope hasn’t achieved superstar status since then, it hasn’t been for a lack of quality material. He’s well-respected in the music community and has written songs for and collaborated with many top stars including Carlos Santana. Cope will be touring in support of his two most recent albums, “Heroin and Helicopters” and “The Pull of Niagara Falls”.
