Don't miss your opportunity to celebrate an early Valentine's Day with Jazz for Lovers. Things are bound to get heated as Tupponce, voted “sexiest voice in Charlotte” by Charlotte magazine in 2006, sings romantic tunes. Perhaps no other music genre tells us more about love in all its varied shades than jazz. From its openly sentimental ballads and teary torch songs to its fiery declarations of new love and playful odes to significant others, jazz numbers hit all the marks.
Jazz at the Bechtler's Ziad Jazz Quartet – with guest vocalist Toni Tupponce – knows well how to evoke the moods of love for Valentine’s Day. Performance Concerts are performed at 6 and 8:15 p.m. with no intermissions. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. for the 6 p.m. concert and 7:45 p.m. for the 8:15 p.m. concert. General seating is first come, first served. Enjoy light bites and a cash bar. Standing room only is available after all seats are claimed.
