An enchanted tale that has delighted generations. Stravinsky's Firebird follows a prince and princess caught in a struggle with an ogre. The groundbreaking score glitters with bold and exotic orchestral color as the Firebird works to save them. Mussorgsky's Night on Bald Mountain is one of the most recognized pieces of classical music, partially thanks to its appearance in Disney's Fantasia. Resident Conductor Christopher James Lees leads this performance on the Classical main stage.
