Fall in the Queen City means the return of the signature Halloween event, Trick or Treat Street.
On Saturday, October 26 from 2 to 4 p.m. enjoy an afternoon of Halloween spirit in partnership with the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office. Families can explore vendor tables, visit with on-site safety advocates about safety during trick-or-treating season and enjoy free safety demonstrations. Candy will be available at every table, while supplies last.
While parents rock out to music from a local DJ, kids can trick-or-treat their way through participating vendor booths and bounce out their sugar high through an inflatable obstacle course. All attendees are encouraged to come dressed in their favorite Halloween costumes.
This free event is open to the public, so bring your family and friends for an afternoon of music, shopping and Halloween treats. Look out for special promotions at select Blakeney retailers and restaurants throughout the afternoon.
