Charlotte Teachers Institute will announce its 2019 seminars and showcase new teaching ideas developed by local teachers at CTI's Evening for Educators event on Tuesday, Oct. 9, 6-8 p.m. at the Discovery Place Education Studio. Evening for Educators features engaging new curricula Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools teachers developed for their own students in the arts, sciences, humanities during CTI seminars and summer research experiences. The teachers, from a wide variety of subject areas and grade levels preK-12, will discuss their new curricula and share poster presentations at Evening for Educators. The event includes refreshments and is free and open to the public. The Discovery Place Education Studio is located at 300 N. Poplar Street in uptown Charlotte.
