Ascent Uptown Apartments

Moved in here three months ago and so far have been mostly loving our experience here! There are a few minor things that I wish were different such as the fan in the bathroom coming on when you turn the light on as it's incredibly loud in the middle of the night and unnecessary most of the time. We also had a issue when we first moved in where the freight elevator broke and caused our move to take double the time, costing us double because our movers were paid by the hour. It also caused a back up on the elevators for the rest of the residents as there was only one to use while we used one and one broken. It's mostly incredibly quiet and you can't hear any outside noises except when a fire truck goes by or if someone is revving their engine super obnoxiously. But we're in the city center. City sounds are to be expected. It's truly relatively quiet. But honestly most things are livable with and this has been the best decision to move here. Concierge is literally the best. Bryce at leasing is so kind and helpful! The building is kept incredibly well cleaned thanks to a hard working team of cleaners who I see nearly every morning when I'm taking my dog outside. I'm so glad my fiance and I made the choice to move here. It's been a great experience for us overall.

What an unexpected disappointment! I lived at the Ascent in 2019-2020 and loved living there. The staff is amazing and the views and building delightful. During Covid, they did an amazing job of creating moments of community. That said, more than two years after moving out on good terms, at the end of my lease, their corporate entity (Greystar) reached out claiming I owed additional rent. The person doing the collection was not clear and was very hesitant. I have been a staunch supporter of Ascent and had at one point almost moved back (I decided not to return to Charlotte). And now this experience has made me question the ethics of the company and the effectiveness of the management. I have reached out to the current on-site team and have not heard back. So. Caution to all those considering this Ascent and other Greystar properties.

Totally love the Ascent. It is luxury living in the heart of the city. The views from my apartment sold me. I am extremely happy and have renewed my lease going into year two. The building is clean and I visit other luxury buildings in uptown as I have friends in other places and I always say The Ascent is the best.

If youre looking for a top notch experience.. this is the place. I relocated for work and my contract was unfortunately cut short. They were professional, understanding and walked me through the steps to get out of my lease. I couldnt be more thankful. The views, amenities, apartments, and people are awesome. This is simply the place to be! In addition, BRYCE IS TRULY AMAZZZZZZZINGGGG he made my experience unforgettable. Thank-you guys!

Ascent is in the perfect location uptown, the views are incredible and the building is very clean. The amenities are the best Ive seen of any complex in Charlotte, however the gym could use an upgrade (1 smith machine and no free weight squat/bench rack is insufficient). Marissa in the leasing office was an absolute pleasure to work with. I inquired with the leasing office the same day, pressed for time. She fit touring me into her full schedule and answered all my questions honestly and in a straightforward manner. I had my application in and approved the same day, and a lease in my inbox to sign within 24 hours. It was a smooth and efficient experience, and I really appreciated it!
