Attended a punk rock showcase at Skylark Social Club in Charlotte. Driving to get into the venue can get sketchy, but there is an overflow lot across the street. Checked out some pretty solid bands and the $10 cover charge for the door was reasonable. Enjoyed the show. Venue is smaller, so moshing takes up a considerable amount of space. So if youre close to the front, be ready to throw down!

I moved to Charlotte nearly two years ago and Skylark has been my home bar pretty much the whole time. Solid community, excellent staff, creative/unique events (including shows), zero tolerance policy for bigotry or violence- overall a great atmosphere.
