This place is incredible. I love the open kitchen & the way it is designed. It does not feel like you are in a hotel. We stared with some delicious cocktails and the burrata appetizer which was served on delicious sourdough bread. My dinner was this perfect pesto pasta with beautifully seared dry packed scallops and NC shrimp. We finished with the life changing 1 lb donut that was warm & tasty. The service was great and we were not rushed despite it being a busy Saturday evening. I cant wait to return to Stoke next time I am in Charlotte!

Fantastic food and great service. If you need gluten free they have delicious options. The Kale-Broccoli was amazing. If you need a GF meal this place is a great option. The rest of my group had The Donut. The 1lb donut is a sight to see and I'm told it was fantastic, it is the opposite of gluten free though. Absolutely worth the visit.

Ive been trying for 4 days to call and left messages and have to make a reservation and I havent heard back. Im so disappointed and would love for someone to actually call me back. A great restaurant but when youre trying to make a reservation for a nice dinner and a big party they obviously dont care.

Stoke has been the solid spot I've been relying on for reservations when everywhere else in Uptown is full. The bartenders definitely know what they are doing, the old fashion just hits right every time. Menu-wise, like most Kitchens that take themselves somewhat seriously, they have great dishes in name. Everything I've had has been good to okay, but honestly, I still haven't had something I can say beats out the other spots in the city. The lack of vegetarian options always disappoints me and I often have to skip on Stroke because of it to be courteous to my party. Still a great spot for Charlotte and hope to continue to check it out for years to come.
