I went to STIR last Saturday with my family during Brunch and all I can say is..... AMAZING! From the time we walked in to the seating, I could tell we were going to have a great experience. The building is huge, so plenty of seating and I love the rustic ambiance....just super sheek! The food, which I will provide pictures of, is also amazing. The only ding I would give them is for the chicken and waffles, I expected more chicken or bigger chicken breast. The drinks are great as well! Can't go wrong with Mimosas!! Overall, this is the brunch/lunch spot to go to in Uptown Charlotte. On a scale of 1 to 10 I would give it an 12! I HIGHLY recommend this place....trust me you won't be disappointed.

Lovely atmosphere, lovely service, fantastic food. I had the fish tacos which were top notch and full of flavor. Also had the crab bisque which was not the best I've had but was pretty good. The old fashioned was different but delicious. I had two! Will definitely be back.

Had the best time here ever with my friends. Has a first time visit my server Nate was the most knowledgeable and he was so friendly. He took great care of us and made the whole experience worth while. He accomodated us and provided such great experience that we will be coming back again! Definitely need a raise! Thank you Stir Charlotte for great food and great experience!

Pro Tips for thus restaurant: Book a reservation online and arrive early to find parking. I booked a reservation online and arrived early with my party. We got off to a shaky start, with some confusion at the hostess station. Despite having a reservation we still had to wait about 15 minutes and our table wasn't cleaned, leaving us to stand in the middle of restaurant while the hostess took care of it. I get they were busy and more importantly a smidge unorganized. Our server was awesome and the food was delicious and well paced. I was in a party of 3 and we ordered a few items so we could sample, this is something we do a lot. We didn't have issues with the food itself, it was all plated well and very tasty. What did we order: Appetizers: Spicy Chicken Samosas and Fried Green Tomatoes Entrees : Crispy Mahi Bowl, Shrimp & Grits, Grilled Chicken Caprese We all felt the Crispy Mahi was the stand out with the Shrimp & Grits a close 2nd. We enjoyed the chicken caprese but in comparison to the other 2 entrees it didn't compare. Overall, we had a lovely meal and the interior design and ambiance was warm and inviting. Note: There is is outdoor seating available if you prefer.

I haven't really heard much about this spot since it opened. I won a gift card for it though, so we stopped by for an early dinner. My husband and I split: - Crab Bisque - Ceviche Sampler - Scallop & Shrimp White Cheddar Mac & Cheese - Crispy Mahi Bowl We got entirely too much food for two people. The portion sizes of the entrees were huge and I wasn't expecting that (no complaints though, you just might want to order less). Both entrees were the star of the meal for me. I think I had a slight preference for the mac & cheese, but they were both fantastic. The sauce on the mac and cheese was very rich so I was glad we split it. I loved the seasoning on the fried Mahi. I also really enjoyed the crab bisque. The ceviche sampler was hit or miss for me. I loved the Mexican which I had never had before. The Avocado & Mahi was pretty good too. I wasn't a huge fan of the fried one and the Peruvian one was so chewy and overdone. Overall I was really impressed by this spot and would love to go back to try more of the menu.
