Great place in uptown for a casual/business lunch or a nice dinner out. We went there for lunch after visiting the Mint Art Museum. There was a good festival going on in the streets and we just wanted to slip in somewhere for a nice quiet meal with sit down service. Bernardin's was perfect. We ate in the bar area. I got one of their stir fry's and my wife got a pasta dish. Both were excellent quality, and we received outstanding service. Overall, it was a great experience and much nicer than standing on the street with festival food in one hand and drink in the other. :)
Superb service to go with a great lunch meal. The beef Thai salad and the cilantro pesto chicken were both wonderful. Lunch prices are affordable, so don't wait for a special occasion. Just go and you won't regret it.
Bernardin's has a great menu with a lot of options and great staff. There servers are sheets attentive and available when you need them. The food comes out quickly and has always been prepared exactly how I requested. However, the food is slightly expensive for lunch.
Delicious! The atmosphere was nice, the servers great, and the food delicious. I was with a small work group. One had a burger and just the sight made my mouth water. Others had the curry shrimp with rice and that was amazing as well. Since it was lunch, I had the portobello salad with bacon, bleu cheese, and fruit. I loved it! Finally, the bill... it was not bad at all! I was expecting a $20 salad from the feel of the place, but drink and lunch were $10 total. They also keep bringing out bread rolls if you want them.
I've been here a couple of times now and I still feel like the food is just okay. There's nothing different or interesting about it, which probably makes it perfect for uptown where all the bankers work. Also they have dinner type pastas on their lunch menu which is just weird to me.
