The food was so GOOD, the chicken bacon ranch empanadas is a MUST try, the hot Sammies were amazing too but the apple sweet hand pies are out of this WORLD! 5 from US!

Watch your kids with their spoons. This one broke in my 3 year olds mouth, and she swallowed it. She was probably chewing on it, and I'm not sure if all spoons are created equal, but this was less than an enjoyable experience. Im sure there are stronger ones out there that you could probably justify when you charge $4/scoop. They also didn't have the flavor my daughter wanted because it was thawing out on the counter. I'm sure I'll be back because I love CBC and it's close by, but I just wish I didn't have this to worry about when I visited.

Disappointing! This used to be our favorite ice cream spot with homemade flavors. Personal favorite was their chocolate. This review is based off 1 experience we had at the new Churn. All prior experiences at Churn Buddies were phenomenal, met with good service and quality ice cream. However now they only serve mediocre (at best) soft serve. The gentleman at the counter didnt know how to properly make a soft serve cone. The portion size was extra small and had no layering. Not to mention when he couldnt properly cut the swirl off from the machine he used his hand (gloved thank goodness) to flick the ice cream off his finger and onto the cone. Also Cheese burger or ham/cheese pies served at a place supposedly known for ice cream is kind of random. Again disappointing experience and a sad final visit to a once loved business.

The staff is kind and provide great service. The ice cream used to be delicious and homemadeespecially the sorbets. The low rating is because they dont make the ice cream anymore. Its just cheap grocery store stuff (Tillamook labels on the bins). The dip in quality is pretty stark and a bummer. I wish they could have tried other ways to cut costs like making fewer flavors or something. Maybe theyll adjust back in the summer next year. Hope so. As it is, no reason to buy here instead of Food Lion.

We stumbled across churn this summer on a random motorcycle trip out of the city to see what Gibson Mill was all about. Going to Churn and churn alone has been many purposeful rides since. We are easy and just go with a swirl cup. Simple, rich and affordable. Weve always had great service as well.
