Everything change when the original owners of El Buen Gusto left. The horchata drink doesnt taste the same, the food is not good as well as the environment. Very disorganized and the New front lady is very rude. Wont be coming back after that.

If you're looking for typical American fast food go to McDonalds. If you want excellent, freshly cooked, Salvadoran food, go here. No, it's not cheap, but it is value for your money. It will take a few minutes to prepare. Sit down, take a deep breath, and relax. I found the personnel to be friendly, but I came in with a right attitude. If that's where your head is, you'll be glad you went in.

This is my favorite Salvadoran restaurant!! They never miss! If you tried this place in the past - they recently got new ownership and the food/service has improved significantly! Best place for authentic Salvadoran food/ drinks and homemade cuajada!

This is the best restaurant in Charlotte ever the staff is amazing so are the new owners especially the waiters on weekends everyone works hard to make your fresh food, of course if your in a hurry know that it will take 15-20 min unless you order on the phone. The closest to real Salvadorian food, family owned, you can see the owners cooking. Beware food takes long to be served since the fix everything from scratch, do not come it you are are in a hurry be prepared to wait from 15 to 25 min to have your food ready. They are clean and you can see from your table how your meals are prepared "nothing to hide". Prices go from $4 to 15 aprox (2019).
