Quick brunch stop! We, along with about 10 other groups, were waiting outside prior to their opening in order to get a table (no reservation). Finally seated indoors, we got to it and ordered our food. We got the cinnamon roll to share, the waffles with fruit, and the Nashville chicken. Everything was pretty good, but I wish I didnt get both the waffles and the cinnamon roll. They were literally the same thing! The waffles have the cinnamon roll dressing, and I dont think it suited the waffles. Should have been syrup. Also, I suggest asking about what fruit comes on the waffles in the event that you have allergies (like me!) it was nothing serious, but I am personally slightly allergic to apples and this is what came on the waffles. Wish I ordered something else/specified the fruit. Overall a decent breakfast. Id go back to try out all the different cocktails and their coffee. Staff was nice as well!
Always an amazing time here! Ive been mostly for dinner and each time the food is so good! I love that its all small plates so you can try different items and share with your friends. Their cocktails are also really good!! I would recommend the Mac and cheese and any veggie dish
Came here for my birthday last night! Didn't even tell the staff it was my birthday and they were all still so so nice, attentive, and helpful! Grabbed a spot at the bar and then the host came over and offered to move us to a table. The bartender and waitress both had excellent recommendations and obviously were very familiar with the menu. The food was incredible (sweet potato dumplings, YUM)!
Really fun vibe! The servers are very helpful in estimating how much to order, since it's a family style meal. The prices are not cheap, but the portions are very generous. Everything we tried (hush puppies, sweet potato dumplings, charred cauliflower, and the fried chicken) was really delicious. Highly recommend, and we plan to return!
Food was absolutely spectacular. It was a fun play on a lot of the favorites of childhood and southern food. A couple small misses (mainly in the desserts) but it was well made up for by the rest of the food, service and southern chic ambience. Really big fan of this spot now and I will definitely be back. Also the wine selection was stronger than anticipated for a place that is known for fried chicken and cocktails.
