I really enjoyed this restaurant. We sat at the bar and the staff was great. Food was delicious. The gyoza was very good, and so was the Red Dragon roll (recommended by our waitress/bartender). I would definitely come back to try something else.
Best sushi and Japanese food in Charlotte. Food and service is consistently top notch. Have never had a bad experience here in all of the years it has been open.
DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS PLACE! A bunch of roaches sitting near the bathroom door. Terrible customer service as well. Spent $100s on drinks once we seen roaches we did not want sushi anymore. Gave the waitress $20 tip told her we didnt want anything else, proceeded to leave and they called the police on us because 2 people at the table no longer even wanted their drinks. The whole staff followed us in the parking lot to get plate #s for $29!!! The drinks were left on the table! After the commotion we paid the $29 but no one addressed the roaches. An officer said they hey called their once a week about the roaches and people not willing to pay. Manager had nothing to say. Our waitress kept her tip and never told the cops are bill was paid besides what was left on the table until she was called out and we showed bank statements and asked for receipts. 0 stars would not recommend this place is not what it used to be a few years ago. Roaches big, small, & fat everywhere YUCK!
Had high expectations for this restaurant since is was rated as one of the best sushi places in Charlotte. First thing Ive noticed when i walked in was the place was pretty dirty. Our glasses had smudges on them like they havent been washed and the plates had some crumbs in them. Glass doors had smudges all over them and the floor needed a good sweeping. Anyways on to the food. Ordered four items off the menu including the sushi. Every single thing tasted off. The flavors, the sauces everything was bad. The water even and the Pepsi tasted awful. The sushi looked like it was rolled by an amateur and rolled in some chips and fried on the grill maybe. Raw sushi with charred crumbs around it. Very unappetizing. Didnt even want to try them. The server was sitting eating lunch at the bar when she was not serving us and it looked like a scene out of Gordon Ramseys restaurant makeover show. 50$ later, We left most of the food sitting on the table. I took some of it home for my dog and we went to find another restaurant in the area with better food because we were still hungry.
Was sat pretty quick- food was good but a little pricey. Nice atmosphere but not the best date night vibe. Loud club music and large parties at every table so great for a birthday spot, not so great for a quiet night out to dinner.
