Great BBQ taste. Extensive beer and wine lists. Kind of a tapas or family style dining. Sample all you can with 1/4 pound options, or go for the stomach stuffing 1 pound plates! Bring friends or family as you need some help putting all that food away! The BBQ pulled chicken tasted great as well as the collard greens side.
First off. Great BBQ. Authentic. Great portions. I ordered too many ribs. I wasn't a fan of the smoked wings. Loved the selections of different BBQ sauces. Mac and cheese was good, not great. Collards were good to me as well. I'm a huge fan of brisket and this is my favorite place to order it from. The ambiance is wonderful. I loved this place. I can't say it's pricey because they have a great menu that allows you to get portions of different things.
The sliced Brisket was one of the best I have had, dinning out. Nice drink selection, friendly staff. Banana pudding . Could be considered a little pricey, but the portion sizes allow yourself and a guest to share easy. You will not be disappointed. It was my first time visiting, I'll be going back in the near future.
I want a peak in the back to see what magic they put in the brisket. It's delicious. The sides are decent, but overall the prices are up there. Prepare to spend $40/ meal. We'll worth it if you love REAL smoked meat.
Take out order. Pulled Pork, Ribs, Brisket and Collards were AMAZING. Brisket was phenomenal on it's own. If must have with sauce try it with 'how it all started' sauce. You cannot go wrong coming here. Enjoy!!
