Efficient check in with friendly staff. Clean rooms with features like granite wall in shower in bathroom, exhaust fan in bathroom. Having last been here 3 years ago, I felt like the emphasis on hospitality had been reduced. There used to be a refreshing lemon water kept in lobby, didn't see it this time. In addition the breakfast was a disapointment. No walnuts or other premium nuts for oatmeal, no Greek yogurt, no chocolate milk. This could be a 5 star review if the breakfast can be restored to what it was before, did ownership change?

This Spring Hill lives up to the Marriott brand. The staff is always excellent, polite and very attentive. The restaurant is within walking distance 2 fast food as well as Deli and other restaurants including a fine dining restaurant owned by local family, Starbucks and my favorite Dairy Queen. Easy access to I-77. There is a full-service bar at the hotel which is generally not available at most SpringHill Suites

Very nice place in a great central location. 2 minutes from Lake Norman. Staff was wonderful, polite and helpful in all areas from check-in to morning buffet and even the bartender. The bartender helped us find a great restaurant that was suitable for 4 picky kids.

I would like to tell the management of this hotel to be more sensitive and logical when talking to there guests. I stayed in this property for almost 5 weeks and seriously saying it is not a hotel it is wedding venue/pub to do party and they are running there hotel as a corporate office (9-5 PM) as you wont find any housekeeping staff working before 9 AM and after 5 PM in the evening. Only 2 people work in this property one is receptionist and other bartender. I used to have a meeting most of the time in morning and whenever I called guest service to collect laundary from my room, they never had any staff and I had to go personally to handover. Housekeeping that works to clean my room, they clean once in 5 Days Of your stay. I want to report incident happened last night, while working in my room, suddenly a big black bee entered my room through AC unit and I called room service to send someone but as I mentioned there was no staff working after 5 pm, so I got the same reply that nobody is there. I went downstairs to speak to receptionist about this incident and asked her to change the room or let someone remove the bee from my room. She replied that we are out of rooms and there is nobody to help you out. I said what ??? I asked her should I go out and look for other places to stay, she told me you are most welcome to go..!! I asked her to call manager and supervisor, she said they wont be available as it is too late. I asked her for some solution since it was 9.30 PM. She went to the bartender and made fun of me and laughed at me. I was watching her and she came back and told me that once she will close her bar, she will replace another guy who comes around 11pm and then he can help you out. I literally waited till 11 pm and she closed her bar at 11 because behind there was wedding party going on and people were boozing and literally jumping on the chairs and tables where we eat our breakfast in Morning. Im surprised that guest like me are least important but other guests who are breaking the rules are more important. Big shame. Next Day morning when I was checking out, I talked to the manager of this hotel. She said its bee season so be prepared for your next stay and we cant do anything. I asked about the staff she said we cant hire nor do we have anyone because this is remote location.. Wow when this hotel is always booked for wedding, other events and there is big corporate offices like lowes around, how come they cant hire anyone. Then I asked that people were literally jumping on tables and chairs where we eat out breakfast in morning, she said it is wedding so no rules. Shame on the Management and receptionist who works over there and insulted me, made fun of me and treated me like a nobody. I would like someone from Mariott executive Management to please look into this matter seriously. Guys please avoid this property while making a booking. Lifts are smelly, corridors are smelly and rooms are untidy. They need a big makeover in their behavior and hotel too.

Excellent service and very clean. Widely recommended.
