I only wish that a place like this existed when I was a kid or a teenager. As a result of not having such a lovely place as this I held on to my shame and dysphoria, even self-loathing at times, and anger at God for putting me in the wrong body. I even cried when I was there the first time for happiness for the children that were there or rather young adults I should say and also for myself (a little bit of pity for all of the above mentioned things) I am now a member of this growing community of people that are really just loving kindness learning to accept themselves as such. I am only thankful and I mean so thankful that this place exists and that the world gives us in the LGBT community a chance to demonstrate that we are equals and have something to offer this world that is Paramount to the success of humanity.
