For over 45 years, Carowinds has been right at the heart of where the Carolinas come together, so we know a thing or two about Carolina culture. It’s something mighty special, and we want you to see (and taste and experience) just why we love it here. Located off I-77 at the NC/SC border, we have everything you need to make lifelong memories. Giggle with little ones at the crazy antics of Snoopy and the PEANUTS™ gang at Camp Snoopy, our 12-acre children’s area filled with interactive play areas and rides. Grab a friend and scream out loud on one of our 14 world-class rollercoasters or take in a live show! Share a delicious funnel cake, and give away the last bite. Get completely soaked – again and again – at Carolina Harbor, our all-inclusive waterpark. Your memories are waiting. Start your Carowinds adventure today!
Ever since they updated the kids area this park has been perfect for our family. I started visiting here as a child, but it's way better now. The coasters are great, shows have been fun, and we can't wait to try the water park. Loads of carnival games too, and at Halloween they do a good job. Bought season passes this year so we can take our time trying the whole park. Good value with parking included if you live local don't just visit once. Enjoy the whole season.
Super fun place to go with friends and family. The water park is a good place to cool down and get a tan going on or just chill. The rest of the park is full of good food, rides, and live music. You'll find little sweets, games, and gift shops around. The people working are always friendly and ready to help if you get lost! I love the rides even though the wait is always long. Would recommend going for sure.
Family had a ton of fun. Love the air conditioned Harmony Hall for food. Included water park is great for hot days. Fury 325 easily beats Millennium Force at Cedar Point. Great amenities throughout the park. Clean bathrooms. Friendly staff. Kids loved the Camp Snoopy area.
Beautiful park. Clean. Friendly staff. Better food options than King's Island trip last year. However, only 4 stars as food and drinks are super expensive. We are talking like higher than Disney. They have a cup and food passes but we were just passing through so did buy. Did not to carry a cup around everywhere either. I will several places had cups of ice water available for free.
We love Carowinds. Great entertainment for incredible value. For the most part, customer service is excellent. Today at the Dipping Dots in the park, a girl named Kayla took the time to open a brand new fury flavored ice cream bag because the ice cream that was already there had been cross contaminated with other flavors that potentially had gluten. That's outstanding service. The only way I would like to see Carowinds improve would to build shaded structures over the wait line areas. The sun is intense and makes for a less enjoyable experience when you're forced to stand in it.
As a fellow brewery owner I can fully appreciate their facility, attention to detail and focus on atmosphere. Their beer is very very good but the ability to enjoy in a completely authentic beer garden experience is what puts them over the top. Well worth a visit in weather which allows enjoyment of the beer garden.
Review- Old Mecklenburg Brewery Charlotte, NC- Using a 5-star scale, I give it a 5 (I'd give it an 8 on that scale really) Great service, great well-designed facility. Good flow throughout. Spacious biergarten (8 acres) with food options and what I call a "beer cafeteria." Order, get your beer or adult popsicles dipped in a glass with beverage, grab a soft drink for your DD and pay at the end of the line. Inside is a modern, comfortable beer hall with full-service and a beer and food menu and merchandise. Family and pet friendly with a playground for the kids (closed at the moment per Executive Order) Total chill and safe environment. Since it was a special event, they had awesome live entertainment. The band played pop, rock, country and jazz hits. Facility is impeccably clean. Restrooms, food service areas, outdoor seating areas (our outside table smelled like sanitizer), parking lots. Ample, free parking. This is a destination for a beer lover. A must do if you have the chance to visit Charlotte.
life is good with dogs
We love this place! People are always friendly, good beer and food, pet friendly ... their fries are to die for!! Great place to hang out with friends!
German brewery with a humongous outdoor patio. My friend and I enjoyed all of the German style biers we consumed (we tried seven different ones), including a seasonal Mecktoberfest. 4 out of 5 stars because the bar tender was a wee bit impatient while we ordered despite no line of customers behind us. This place is dog friendly so we will be returning!
WHY DID YOU CHANGE YOUR POTATO SALAD?! IT WAS VINEGAR BASED AND AMAZING! NOW IT'S MAYONNAISE BASED AND I CAN BUY THAT FROM HARRIS TEETER! IT WAS THE ONLY REASON I ACTUALLY CAME AROUND ANYMORE! Also, the pretzel was dried out. All I want during this pandemic is a taste of the old world.
Had a blast, got the fast pass, and the thing where you can eat like every two hours or something, tried Panda Express one of those times, I didnt like it.. It was fun though. P.S. Dont have metal on your bathing suit or you cant go down a few of the rides! Its a safety thing.
Went about a year ago. AMAZING THEME PARK! Nighthawk is absolutely amazing, flying coasters are so cool. Intimidator Carowinds is an inversion-free ride that has some sweet hills and airtime. Afterburn is a coaster like all the others, but its incredibly smooth, and is a suspended coaster. Its underrated. Copperhead Strike is one of my favorites. The line took an hour, but it was worth it in the end. Awesome addition to Carowinds. The Flying Cobras was a bit rough, but nothing much. The suspense as you climbed up the lift hill was killer. Carolina Cyclone, was PAINFUL. Beware! Its an old ride but it was so rough I legit had a headache. If you dont go on it you arent missing out on a lot. Fury 325: really fun. It seems similar to Intimidator Carowinds but I like it a bit better just because its the Fury. It doesnt have all the sharp turns like the Intimidator 305 at KD. Vortex: cool stand-up coaster, which I heard is only one of four in the US. I liked this place a lot, you should definitely go some time!
Tough decision on a business stand point but better safe than sorry, right? Stay safe out there I was running errands in the area so I decided to make a quick drive there so you don't have to ;) (you're welcome)
I was told on August 11 that I would be getting a refund for my 2020 goal passes. Then I was told on August 25 it was deposited and refunded to my bank account. I still have not received my money I have emailed and emailed and now your company is ignoring my emails. I need for my money to be put into my account as soon as possible. Your company didnt have to go through all of this to get the money out of my bank account and I should not have to go through this to get my money put back into my account. Please put my money back in my account like you said your company would, know I feel like Im getting the runaround about my money.
Closed.. It's been closed the whole winter and summer, so at least the last 9-10 months or so. How are all these 5 star reviews showing up within the last week to a few months ago when it has been closed the entire time? Sounds a little fishy. Maybe they are having friends and employees etc. come on here to run up their numbers, kind of like the covid numbers. Anyways, it's closed and has been closed the entire summer so no idea how all the 5 start reviews are getting on here for a closed park.
