Discovery Place Nature
We enjoyed seeing the animals and the exhibits. The staff are helpful and care about the museum. I feel that for what it is and where it is, there is more potential to upgrade the facilities and create a better experience for the current guests. A refresh
Overall a good spot for kids. The indoor playground area is closed due to Covid and the outdoor play area is a little sparse, but the nature trail is nice and seems like you're in the middle of a huge forest.
Such a great place. Wonderful for kids and been a favorite of mine for years. Butterfly garden is awesome and even the outside paw paw trail was a great natural hike.
From Houston, so not like the Children's museum. Because of CoVID kids cannot climb on objects. They do have tactile items like painting...Overall I would say best for kids 6 and under. And a no for busy little boys like mine.
Pre-covid this was an awesome, clean and educational place to take kids. We went today and it felt so run down, pieces of play equipment and toys were falling apart or broken. The outdoor play area behind the trail is overgrown with foliage, wood stage and chairs are rotting away. Nothing but ants and a pair of pigeons in the butterfly exhibit and all the live animals and amphibians looked uncared for considering their circumstances. I was excited to come back and left disappointed..
