First time ever going to an IMAX theater and all I have to say is WOW! The quality was superb and the seats were comfy and spaced out well for viewers so no one can kick your seat. Due to the large screen the theater only shows one film at a time and the film we saw was Weapons. I was a little nervous at first since this was a horror movie and all jump scares would literally jump through the screen at me, but it was honestly a very fun experience. I would definitely revisit and experience different films in the IMAX theater. I parked at a parking lot directly across the street from the IMAX.

Had a great time with the family at Discovery Place Science in Charlotte! There are lots of hands on exhibits that keep both kids and adults engaged, and its easy to spend a few hours exploring everything. The IMAX experience was a highlight. It was super immersive and a fun way to take a break between exhibits. Overall, a really good time with the family. You will enjoy it more if you go early!

We saw Twister at IMAX today. Seeing a movie there makes you want to go for EVERY film! It is more expensive- $21.75 +tax each adult ticket. I didn't enjoy it that much. Spoiler Alert! Don't read any further if you haven't seen Twister yet! Helen Hunt is not in movie, and 1st film was so much better. IMAX? IT WAS A GREAT EXPERIENCE .

The picture is great. The sound is great. The seat not so much. It would be better if they leaned back some and where more comfortable so you didnt have to look up so much. Also they concession stand is sad!!!!!!

We had a good time today. We watched the volcano movie and it was amazing! Very clean. All the staff was very nice and helpful. I wish I would have know it was field trip day for several bud loads of kids. Lol. Still had a good time. I highly recommend this place. *We parked in the parking deck next door and we were charged $17.00 for less than 2 hrs. Charged us for all day.
