The 1932 Barn
One of my best friends and her husband got married here a few weeks ago! It was beautiful and they did an amazing job! They were so attentive to the bride and groom and made sure their vision came to life! Id highly recommend them to anyone!
We absolutely loved our October wedding at the 1932 barn! The property was gorgeous that day in the fall. Lori and her staff worked closely with us to make sure everything looked exactly how we wanted it. She let us come by and walk the property a week prior to the wedding in order to talk through our vision. Her staff helped to make sure there was a plan in place in case of rain and that all guests were able to stay warm throughout the event. We were impressed by the flexibility of the venue to adapt to our wishes in terms of where the ceremony would be located on the property. The access to a wide variety of dcor was a game changer. I was able to pick out exactly what would match my vision for the wedding without having to worry about the price of each individual item. This is an awesome perk that you will not find at other wedding venues! Loris excitement and passion were what originally sold us on the venue, but her entire staffs hard work to make the day a reality was what made the day truly memorable. Her work and coordination with us leading up to the wedding was the reason we felt like we didnt need a wedding planner. On the day of the wedding, we didn't have to worry about setup or preparation - we simply enjoyed the day. We cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed this venue!
A PERSONAL RESPONSE TO THIS 1 STAR REVIEW. I have the specific review listed below for reference. To be clear, I am not an employee of this venue. I was a bridesmaid in the wedding this writer is referring to. 1.) This writer is the mother of the groom. She is a very controversial and unhappy person. 2.) The writer has ZERO context about how the wedding was suppose to transpire because she (and almost all of her family) did not show up for the wedding rehearsal. They also showed up 5 minutes before the wedding started. 3.) The venue did not provide the food. An outside catering company provided the food. This speaks to how little she knew about the wedding and venue. She did not like the food in general because it was not "traditional wedding food". 4.) I can go on and on but hopefully this paints the picture that this writer was never going to be happy about this venue or any other wedding venue. ***** This venue was amazing! I have been a bridesmaid in 10 different weddings and have attended countless others. The wedding director/coordinator was EFFICENT at everything. She ran the venue and wedding beautifully with her staff. The only thing I could do during the wedding was to participate and have a good time. This is a FANTASTIC WEDDING VENUE and one stop shop for all of your wedding needs!!! *** 1 star review: Lisa Rose McPherson Local Guide129 reviews52 photos I want to make sure this is clear. It was a Horrible wedding VENUE. Mass confusion. Nothing done right. What a mess. Food less than then mentionable. Steer clear if your event is important.
My wife and I recently got married here in September. Everything was seem less and easy and went off without any issues. If I could do I all over I would do he same exact thing.
Beautiful venue with tons to offer! Such a great rustic barn setting!
