These culinary artists are who make the Queen City’s dining scene unique. From March 12-25, experience interactive classes, special menus and exclusive offers that bring Charlotte’s flavor to life.
Unlike traditional week-long restaurant events, Savor Charlotte showcases limited-time offers and experiences curated by local chefs, restaurateurs, mixologists, pitmasters, bakers and more. Craft your Savor Charlotte culinary adventure by choosing experiences like these:
Interactive Classes

On Wednesday, March 12, learn to make proper Peruvian ceviche from the chef at Calle Sol. The chef will demonstrate fish butchery, and participants can taste the ceviche at the end of the class.
Sweet Lew’s pitmaster Lewis Donald is teaching participants how to master a smoker, on Sunday, March 16, as part of Unpretentious Palate’s Dine Deeper series. Get an expert’s tips on how to prepare, brine and smoke various cuts of meat, then take home lunch after your lesson.
Enjoy a meal and a night at the Mint Museum Uptown on Thursday, March 13 and 20. Dine at Mariposa on March 13 or at Coquette on March 20, followed by an intimate, museum educator-led tour of select works from The Mint Museum’s permanent collection.
Special Menus

On Thursday, March 20, two renowned Charlotte chefs, Andres Kaifer and Sam Diminich, are collaborating for a one-night-only culinary experience at Restaurant Constance. The two chefs will prepare two courses each and collaborate on one to craft a five-course menu that highlights local ingredients and shared stories.
Throughout Savor Charlotte, celebrate the flavors of Italy’s Veneto region with a three-course tasting menu at Chapter 6. An optional wine pairing from the Veneto region is also available for purchase with this dining experience.
Reigning Doughnuts captured the flavors of North Carolina to create a special doughnut, available exclusively during Savor Charlotte. This fresh cake doughnut is topped with sweet potato frosting, candied pecans and toasted marshmallows as a nod to North Carolina’s state vegetable.
