And just like that, 2019 is coming to a close. But not before one more big night out. As usual, Charlotte is throwing a slew of parties to help ring in 2020. Take your pick from these parties below. Happy New Year!

New Year’s Eve with Charlotte Symphony

Time: 9 p.m.
Location: Blumenthal Performing Arts Belk Theater
Cost - $92 - $194

The Charlotte Symphony will host an unforgettable evening of exquisite music, topped off with George Gershwin's vibrant Rhapsody in Blue to capture the soul of the Roaring 20s. Tickets include a post-concert party with champagne and desserts catered by Crave, dancing on-stage to the Robyn Springer Quartet and a grand countdown to midnight.

New Year’s Eve at WinterFest

Time: 5 p.m.
Location: Carowinds
Cost - $36 online, $41 daily admission

Carowinds’ New Year’s Eve is a family-friendly event that offers something fun for all ages. Dance to the region’s hottest bands throughout the night and admire the décor of WinterFest. Then when the clock strikes midnight, rock your free party hats and horns as you watch an incredible fireworks show. The park will stay open until 1 a.m.

Retro New Year’s Eve

Time: 9 p.m.
Location: Queen Park Social
Cost - $15 in advance, $25 general admission

As you look forward to 2020, this party asks you to look back. It’s a retro-themed evening at Queen Park Social, and there are multiple ticket options, starting as low as $25 and going as high as $75. The latter includes an all-inclusive drink package and buffet, while the former just includes a Champagne toast.

New Year’s Eve Trail Race

Time: 10 p.m.

Cost - $32-$37 in advance, $37-$42 Day of

One race, two years… The Whitewater Center is holding its inaugural New Year’s Eve Trail Race. So, set your resolutions, turn on your headlamps, and kick off 2020 in true celebration of the active, outdoor lifestyle, surrounded by friends and family. 5K and 10K distances start in 2019 and finish in 2020.

2020 Affair at the Ritz

Time: 9 p.m.
Location: The Ritz Carlton
Cost - $35 in advance, $60 general admission

The Ritz Carlton’s 7,000-square-foot ballroom takes the stage in this ultra-fancy party. Your ticket includes passed appetizers, a photo booth and access to multiple bar stations.

Charlie Wilson: A New Year’s Eve Celebration

Roaring Twenties New Year’s Eve

The Roaring ‘20s will roar again at this Charlotte speakeasy. Sip cocktails from the era and swing to hot jazz. For additional cost, get tickets to attend their elegant four-course dinner with cocktail pairings, a glass of champagne and dessert starting at 5:30 p.m. Advance reservations for both events are required.

New Year’s Eve Tapas Tasting

Time: 9 p.m.
Location: Chef Alyssa’s Kitchen
Cost – $100

Set up differently than their traditional cooking classes, this special New Year’s event will encourage guests to rotate through various cooking stations to make their own dish in a fun, interactive and free-flowing way. The menu is an elevated surf and turf with seasonal ingredients and sustainably-sourced proteins. A dessert bar and Prosecco toast is also included. This event is capped at 55 guests, so get your tickets in advance.

SouthEnd Station Paparazzi New Year’s Eve

Time: 9 p.m.
Location: Slate and Oak Room
Cost - $25 designated driver, $70 general admission

Get ready for the flashiest party of the year and prepare to immerse yourself in lights, cameras and moments. Tickets include access to multiple photo booths and bars, but also a balloon drop, DJ’s and live music by Pluto For Planet.

Fire and Ice New Year’s Eve 2020

Time: 10 p.m.
Location: Fahrenheit
Cost - $75 in advance, $99 general admission

Ring in the New Year with photos in front of the Charlotte skyline from Fahrenheit’s bar, lounge and patio. Groove to the DJ and snag a party favor before joining the champagne toast at midnight.

New Year’s Eve Around the World

Cost - $75

Nuvelo Rooftop Twenty-Two will host New Year's Eve Around the World with music by DJ Soden. General admission includes one drink ticket, hors d'oeuvres, dessert station and midnight champagne toast.

Royal Excellence: New Year’s Eve Fundraiser

Time: 9 p.m.
Location: Levine Museum of the New South
Cost - $100

The South Charlotte chapter of Jack and Jill of America is throwing this annual fundraiser at the Levine Museum of the New South. Come dressed in African inspired or traditional black tie attire and prepare for a night of dancing, eating and drinking. Tickets include heavy appetizers from Eloquent Creations Catering and access to the museum.

Caburlesque New Year’s Eve

Time: 9 p.m.
Location: Ink N Ivy
Cost - $100 in advance, $110 general admission

At this Caburlesque-themed all-inclusive party, partygoers can choose between a martini and Champagne bar and another bar that serves unlimited beer, wine and liquor drinks. The party also features passed appetizers and a late-night buffet.

2020 New Year’s Eve

Time: 9 p.m.
Location: Howl at the Moon
Cost - $40

Howl at the Moon in the EpiCentre is throwing a big bash to bid farewell to 2019. Tickets to this party come with an open bar from 7 p.m. until 11 p.m., a free buffet from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m., party favors and a Champagne toast. There are also packages for $75, $95 and $115 with corresponding levels of offerings.

All Inclusive New Year’s Eve at Lucky’s

Time: 8 p.m.
Location: Lucky’s Bar and Arcade
Cost - $45

An open bar and a Champagne toast here will only set you back $45. A DJ will also be on site to play music as you redeem your all-inclusive drink ticket and play video games to ring in 2020.
