Burr & Berry Coffee
Neighborhood: LoSo
Hours: 6 a.m.-5 p.m. daily.
Enjoy hot coffee, Snickers Mochas, frozen drinks and Italian sodas without leaving your car. This drive-thru-only coffee shop is now open off South Blvd. after finding great success at their original location in Indian Land. Get ready for fun holiday-themed drinks in the coming month, and be sure to follow them on Instagram to see which local treats they’re serving at the moment.
Sippin' Santa at the Royal Tot
Neighborhood: Belmont
Hours: 5 p.m.-close daily.
Ahead of its opening, The Royal Tot will host Sippin’ Santa, a tiki Christmas cocktail pop-up concept. Get ready for tiki drinks served in fun Santa-themed cups and plenty of festive decor from November 22 to December 31. Reservations are encouraged and can be made here.

Igloos at Merchant & Trade

Hours: Igloos available by reservation only
Grab a crew and make plans to hang out in one of Merchant & Trade’s igloos, now open on their rooftop until March 30. Each of the two igloos fits up to 12 people and must be reserved in advance. Your booking includes a food and beverage minimum plus a rental fee. Have fun in your bubble!

Garrett Tichy of hygge coworking is once again giving creative minds a place to thrive with this collaborative space for retailers. Lokal (pronounced low-kay) at Camp North End will be home to at least 25 vendors at a time and opens just in time for shopping season. To start, you’ll find businesses such as Quad Espresso Jewelry, Feminist Goods Co, That’s Novel Books and LUSH Boutique.
The Ritz at Washington Heights
Neighborhood: West Charlotte
This new outdoor community space sits on the former site of The Ritz Theatre, one of four Black theatres open in segregation-era Charlotte. Now, the area acts as a gathering place with seating, public Wi-Fi, and regular outdoor movie viewing. Be sure to check out the new artwork by Makayla Binter and Junior Gomez when you visit.

Hours: November 12-December 9, Friday-Sunday, 10 a.m.-7 p.m.; December 10-23, 10 a.m.-7 p.m. daily.
Shop ‘til you drop at VTGCLTPop, a holiday pop-up shop at the Metropolitan (in the former West Elm spot) featuring 100 vintage and handmade brands. You’ll find something for everyone on your list among the clothing, jewelry, artwork, plants, pottery and plenty of other local goods.
