UPDATE: I do not know where to begin. Angelines has become one of my most favorite restaurants. We had another restaurant near by screw up our reservation for a romantic private room on our anniversary. I was pretty devastated. We came to Angelines and told them what had happened. We sat at the bar initially and shortly after the manager of the location came up to us and provided us a table to eat at. He was very gracious to us and went out of his way to make our night better. We had an amazing dinner and drinks as well as some champagne & dessert they provided to celebrate our anniversary. The care and thoughtfulness the manager and Angelines took to make our anniversary night so much better will not be forgotten. It is incredibly appreciated and we will ensure we make Angelines a regular stop for us. That personal touch will not be forgotten and we appreciate it so much. I can not recommend Angelines enough! Thank you to the hosts that took the time to inform the manager as well. This type of service is top notch! Original review three years ago: Really enjoyed eating here. The inside of the place is very nice the food was amazing. I had the veal which sat on top of greens and mashed potatoes and a gravy. It was perfect fall off the bone. All the flavors blended amazingly. Highly recommend!
We had such a lovely Mother's Day brunch at Angeline's. Our server Curtis took great care of us & recommended the perfect Cabernet Sauvigon for me. Food was amazing--I could eat the the Fennel chicken & waffles every day. So good! Thanks guys!!
Fantastic restaurant with great ambiance and service. Everything served had great flavor. The menu was expansive along with a variety of unique drink offerings. The open layout allowed for the kitchen to be seen preparing food along with nice outdoor views. Would highly recommend!
Loved Angelines. I found that in Charlotte, North Carolina, hotel restaurants are much better than other cities. The bar was really great. I had one of the best dirty martinis Ive had in Charlotte so far. Amelia was amazing. The food, ambience and service were incredible as well. My friend and I shared the whipped ricotta and then I had the Cacio E Pepe with shrimp and she had the mussels. Our server Will was fantastic. I would go back just for him. Hes really cute too. The prices were a little high but I totally understand being in a hotel and all. Looking forward to my next meal there

Nice place, seems to be pretty popular so it's better to make a reservation. We came in a few minutes before the official opening and were told that they might not be seated because they had a lot of reservations. However they did find a table for us. As we were leaving the place wasn't even half full, so not sure about that "a lot of reservations" part. Anyway, we got a table and ordered calamari appetizer, two pastas, and some chicken dish, don't remember the name of it. They also served some bread, which was great. The food tasted great, but the portions are average sized, so don't expect to be full with just one plate. It's highly likely that you're gonna want more than that. On a good side - if you are a dessert lover, you'll definitely have some space for dessert, on the down side - your check will go up if you do. Overall - very pleasant experience and food, however, it's not gonna make it to my "oh I'll definitely come back" list in Charlotte.
