Crave Dessert Bar
I came here before and swore I would never come again because of the horrible experience. Previously, I left a one star review. My friends made the decision for us to go here and try it again. I was super skeptical but went ahead and joined. We didn't wait long. We were seated with menus. My friends got drinks. One got the lavender margarita. It was delicious. It was light and just a bit of sweetness. Super refreshing. We ordered flatbread and sliders for the table. As well as the chocolate covered strawberries. My friends ordered hookah-the one with blueberry mint and red bull. They really liked it. Our service was good. Our food was good. The waitress was a doll. She was friendly and attentive. I wish I knew her name to give her a shout out. She was super cool. She got along with her coworkers, which was nice because before the waitresses and hostesses were struggling working together. The vibe was really nice and I enjoyed the visit. I noticed the employees were dressed nicer as well. Should have saved the updated rating but it didn't, so I updated it again.
Crave is a must visit when in Charlotte! The desserts and drinks were excellent. A subtle, but vibrant atmosphere. It was alive and bustling with ornate hookahs, delectable treats that looked like pieces of art, and uniquely crafted drinks. I asked for whatever the bartender recommended and received an off the menu cocktail beyond what I've had before. He produced a Key Lime Pie that came out in a coupe glass. This drink was fantastic. Perfect meringue top sprinkled with graham cracker hints. Sweet and tart exactly like an actual pie would taste. Highly recommend going here and letting the staff pick for you. Can't go wrong with any choice.
Had an amazing time celebrating my birthday last night. Sabrina made my family and I feel extra special. You are so awesome!! Thanks for such a wonderful experience. The drinks were definitely on point and my birthday desert was such a pleasant treat. My husband and I also love visiting because all the girls are so beautiful and sweet
Was looking forward to trying out this place with friends and spend a nice evening there but my experience ended at the hostess counter. First time Im ever seeing a dessert place with a dress code like its some sort of high end restaurant. Nothing was mentioned on their website about that, we had a party of 4 who had planned on going all out with food, drinks, desserts and hookah but they turned us down because of my attire lol We ended up having a lovely night elsewhere that was accepting of whatever we were wearing because they understand that good business is earned by being humble. Ill make sure to bring my three piece suit next time so I can fit the vibe. Is Armani too casual? What about Gucci? Still too casual? Or maybe there wont be a next time at all.
Was looking for a cool place that serves food late. Good food, great drinks, fantastic dessert. Might have to come back again before I leave town. Im visiting from out of town for work, so I dont know anyone here and it can feel a bit lonely. The bartender Alanna was so personable and friendly, I was so glad I chose to sit at her bar; she definitely made my experience there the best. Not to mention her drinks were delicious. Highly recommend this place, especially if you get the pleasure of having Alanna as your bartender. Cheers
