Good Food is such an amazing restaurant! The food is excellent and makes you want to try everything on the menu. Save room for the desserts as they are spectacular as well. The part the really makes the place special is the staff. They are all so knowledgeable and seem to genuinely care that you are having a great experience. Our waitress Monica went above and beyond to make it a great dinner. The bartender Laura would bring us our drinks and give excellent wine suggestions and bring different tasting if we were unsure what we wanted. Thank you so much to the management for having such a wonderful environment. This was our first date spot over 9 years ago and is our special occasion place that always delivers.
Food was tasty and service was great. The waitress was very helpful with figuring out what I could eat given my dietary restrictions. Keep in mind that these are small plates, so if you're a big eater you will need to get more than one thing! I would also take a look at the menu beforehand as it is a small menu and changes.
Great food! Service was a little pushy with cleaning your plates before they were empty but every one was very courteous and the environment was relaxing. Definitely recommend them! Everything that was ordered was delicious
Good Food has remained a top restaurant in Charlotte, with great quality, flavors, and service. The mussels is my favorite dish in Charlotte. The sauce for the mussels is SO good that I soak the bread to get every drop. Its important to get a reservation before you go.
It was pretty good. Three of the five dishes were excellent, but the two protein dishes (duck breast and octopus) we ordered were very average. When two people spend $80 on just food (no alcohol), I expect everything to be excellent and it wasn't.
