This was my first time trying the food counters inside Super G Mart (Independence Avenue). I was pleasantly surprised by the flavor and quality of the food at the aptly named Korean Restaurant. The service was very friendly and efficient. I ordered the bulgogi, which came out fresh and hot. The gochujang sauce was perfect, being more spicy than sweet. I was not a fan of the accompanying kimchi, which did not taste fresh and was relatively dry. I also was surprised at the high price ($13.99 + tax). Overall, I felt that the portion was ideal and the flavors were excellent and authentic. I would recommend to others, but dont expect a cheap eat.
Nasty my 3rd time giving this a try! Gosh this number 6 had sugar thrown all over the noodle it was too Sweet and the last one I had was the bulggi meat gosh it was grainy and dry! #dissapointed! I rather eat at a real Korean restaurant then the one inside a super mart! For $15 byeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Great mini-restaurant inside the grocery store. Take out or eat in available. The kimchi cucumbers are awesome!
This Korean place is inside of the Super G supermarket, they have few different types of soups and different types of kimchi, they have the pepino one that i like the most, all fresh, I got the Soon Dubu soup its a type of tofu with seafood with rice super delicious
If youve been shopping at Super G then you probably have seen Korean Restaurant at the back of the store. Today I decided to try out the food since I was there and Im a big fan of Korean dishes. Firstly, the menu selection is decent and they have all the main Korean favorites that youd find at a standalone restaurant. Something to consider is that theyre dine in seating is closed so you have to take your order to go which was disappointing. I ordered the Bulgogi which is one of my favorites with a side of white rice and kimchi. The Bulgogi was decent, it had good flavor but the portion size was small considering the price of the food. I was expecting the food to be better and considering that its in an Asian supermarket youd think so but again it was decent. If youre new to Korean food and wanting a great experience then there are better options. If you happen to be in the area and really want Korean flavor then Korean Restaurant isnt a bad option.
