Nakato Japanese Restaurant
I would give zero stars, due to the portion size they give you for takeout. We spent $79.64 on a combination dinner takeout. I would never order takeout from any restaurant. From portion size, price, and customer service went down since covid-19. Besides that, the food was good, especially the garlic noodles. Oh. Not to mention I ordered extra Garlic noodles $3.50. Portion size small!!
Got here early to avoid the crowds. Was seated immediately and waitress took our drink order quickly. Drinks came in a timely fashion and soon the meso soup and house salad with ginger dressing was served. I ordered the shrimp and red snapper plate. Great fun watching the chef cook everything in front of us. The snapper didn't have much flavor, but the shrimp were big and juicy. All in all a nice night and dinner out.
My husband and I went for lunch today only to find out it was take out only until 4:30. We were looking forward to hibachi food, so we went ahead and ordered take out. The lunch prices were just as steep as dinner, and they dont even offer you a table to sit down and eat at not to mention there was one light on in the entire restaurant. The food has no flavor, and they only give one sauce per person, so no help there. I would not recommend wasting your money on this place. We will never go back.
The food was good but the food comes on a buffet style plate. The food serving is very small and not worth the money. You would have a better time going to the buffet directly across the way.
The place has great food and a sushi bar. The food is delicious. Probably the best place around the university area to find good Japanese food.
