An amazing first time experience here. Came during happy hour on a Weds so I got to enjoy the $1 happy hour oysters with my friends. They were definitely very fresh. We enjoyed a few cocktails as well as many small plates. I loved all of their veggie side plates and couldn't pick just one so we ordered all of them. Everything felt so purposeful. The texture and smells and spice levels were perfectly balanced. We also enjoyed the corn fritters, lobster roll, and tuna tacos. We also had very good service from our waiter, Ben. At the end of the meal, we capped it off with the Apple dessert and homemade vanilla ice cream. It was the perfect end to a great dining experience.

The Lion fish dish impresses the palate! You can try different oysters from around Canada and the US. The lobster roll is full of lobster and served on delicious bread. And the clam chowder is the best! Come review Sea Level for yourself. I have been in Charlotte over a year and Last night was my first time at the uptown restaurant. Ben was a fantastic server and gave great suggestions.

We thought we'd try a nice restaurant uptown for our anniversary. It was alright, but boy did it get loud in there. Our server was excellent, and he took fantastic care of us. My husband's hot lobster roll was really good he said. They worked with me on changing some things as I have a gluten allergy. My dish came out wrong the first time so they redid it, but it took about 20 - 30 minutes to get it. During my wait they asked if I wanted some soup. I asked if it was gluten free. After determining it was not g-free, my server asked if I wanted french fries while I waited (my husband had already had 2 plates of oysters & was eating his entree). I asked about the gluten & was told there was a dedicated fryer for gluten free. So I had them. Guess what? I thought since there was a problem with my food & then the replacement was taking so long, the fries would be free. Nope. When my entree of fish was delivered, I ate it right up, and it was good. Not great, but good. The bathroom was nice and clean.

This might quite possibly be the best seafood restaurant I've been to. I had the local swordfish. I never order it anywhere but something led me to try and I'm so glad I did. They changed my view on a fish I never liked. Every aspect of the plate was delicious and each component sang with the others. Truly exquisite. The service was fantastic as well. Damn good meal. Fantastic night out.

One of the best dining experiences I have had in years. The staff was prompt and professional and the food was absolutely incredible. I went out on a limb and tried a type of fish I usually wouldnt and had to send it back and the management team was not only understanding they came by and spoke to us to make sure we were satisfied with our experience. I will be back and I will recommend this establishment to anyone who will listen!
