Great 1st time experience. Staff/bartenders/management were amazing. Atmosphere there was 1 of a kind. We will be back soon. Plan on reserving seats in advance, we showed up and had to wait about 45 minutes upstairs but so worth it. We got to sit at the corner of the bar and watch all the drinks being made.

This place is amazing. One of my friends recommended me to go here because I wanted to go somewhere that was not your typical bar food or your typical Steakhouse. First off you walk down some stairs period literally into a cellar. It's very dark so your eyes have to adjust. Very cozy and quaint. The food was delicious. We had the cheese board with some Meats. Lemon risotto which was so so good. Wasn't too overwhelming with the lemon. Had the charred oysters. Also had the ground duck flatbread which was quite different. Every bite you took it tasted different but in a good way. Had the shrimp and grits and finished off with the French toast. Everything was Top Notch I would definitely recommend this to anyone who's wanting to try something different and something new. I had the Moscow mule and my husband had a drink I cannot pronounce and don't remember. The server was very knowledgeable and very nice. Everything came out at the perfect time. Can't wait to return again.

This place was phenomenal -- starting with great cocktails -- all their gins were artisan. Amazing beer list / cellar as well. The food was amazing -- we split a few plates -- the shrimp and grits were to die for, the preserved lemon risotto was extremely flavorful, and the waffle cones were fun (although the tuna one was a bit disappointing). We definitely will be back!

Cocktails are some of the best I've had in North Carolina. There desserts are jaw-dropping amazing. Their steak is delicious unlike any I have had before. I do not drink often, but when I do, I come to The Cellar at Duckworth's.

Only came here on a recommendation from a friend and glad we did. Amazing drink options, incredible small plates to share with friends and unique atmosphere you cannot easily search for online. Definitely go here!
