Exploring the notion that art is music in two dimensions, how would these colors sound? The blending of colors and hues in visual art translates to the blending of voices in choral music. In Colors of Song, the Festival Singers concert will explore the sound of color with the music of composers including Eric Whitacre and Irving Berlin and feature “The Colors of My Life” from Barnum and “Sunday” from Sunday in the Park with George by Stephen Sondheim.
